George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic
George Clinton revolutionized R&B during the ’70s, twisting soul music into funk by adding influences from several late-’60s acid heroes. The early ’90s saw the rise of funk-inspired rap and funk rock that re-established the status of Clinton & Co. as one of the most important forces in the recent history of black music.

Thursday Night at the Museum
Join the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota staff in the Loft and design in Tinkercad, a 3D design and modeling tools allowing users to imagine and then create anything they would like on a laptop or iPad. The Museum’s 3D printers will be printing away as a demo to inspire the visitors’ designs.

Married in Style: Blue Earth County Weddings:
This Blue Earth County Historical Society exhibit will feature a display of wedding gowns and mementos from the museum’s collection, representing Blue Earth County residents from the 1800s through the 20th century. Showcased will be bridal accessories including headpieces, veils and shoes. Rare documents like invitations and wedding certificates, along with beautiful photographs, will be on display.
